How to get there?
Santa’s Hotel Aurora & Igloos are located in the center of Luosto holiday resort. The address is Luppokeino 1 99555, Luosto (Sodankylä)
Log Villa Borealis is located 400 meter walk from the hotel main building and approx. 1 hour drive away. The street address is Tangosoivintie 8, Luosto (Sodankylä)
How to Get There by Car
If you are planning to drive from Helsinki to Lapland, it takes about a day. Luosto is located 1 h 30 min North from Rovaniemi and the Arctic Circle. Drive on route E75 (Highway 4). Turn to Road 962 and drive 14 km to reach Luosto.
How to Get There by Train
Finnish Railway (VR) offers and comfortable and convenient way to travel across the country. Book a cabin in the night train from South Finland to Rovaniemi and wake up in Rovaniemi. Cabins with private bathrooms available. You can also load your own car on the train and continue your road trip after the travel.
Pyhä-Luosto SkiBus takes you from Rovaniemi Railway Station to Santa’s Hotel Aurora. The shuttle bus service runs daily.
How to Get There by Plane?
The fastest way to travel to Lapland is by airplane. Finnair flies several times a day from Helsinki to Rovaniemi (RVN) around the year, as well as to Kittilä (KTT). Alternative airports are Kuusamo (KAO) and Kemi (KEM).
Norwegian also flies to Rovaniemi around the year.
During winter season, Norwegian and Easy Jet fly directly from London Gatwick and Turkish Airlines from Istanbul to Rovaniemi. Lufthansa flies directly from Germany to Kittilä and to Kuusamo.
Is there a Airport Shuttle Service to Luosto?
Yes, Pyhä-Luosto SkiBus service runs daily around the year between Rovaniemi and Luosto. During winter, the schedules are compatible with most Finnair flights. During summer and autumn there is approximately two bus connections per day. You can take the airport shuttle bus back to Rovaniemi airport for your departure flight.
Should the arriving flight be delayed, the bus will wait at Rovaniemi Airport for one hour.
From other airports, private transfers are available. Please contact our hotel staff for more information.
Do you have parking for hotel guests?
Hotel provides complimentary parking places and car port with heating plugs for hotel guests. However, kindly note that there are limited number of parking spaces.
What are the Check-in and Check-out times?
For Santa’s Hotel Aurora and Glass Igloos, check-in time is at 4 pm and Check-out time at 11 am.
Please contact our hotel staff for early check-in and late check-out.
What is included in the igloo price?
All room rates include breakfast, Aurora Alarm and a relaxed atmosphere. All igloos air conditioning and bathroom with wc and shower.
Can you add extra beds in the igloos?
Some glass Igloos fit one extra bed.
Extra bed in Glass Igloo for child: 47 EUR/night, and for adults 57 EUR/night.
Children under 4 years old are provided with a crib/extra bed free of charge, at request.
Do you have pet rooms or allergy rooms?
We have some hotel rooms and igloos where pets are allowed. Pet fee is 30 EUR/pet/stay. Please inform of pets in advance, amount of pet rooms is limited.

Do you provide luggage storage?
Luggage storage is available at Santa’s Hotel Aurora Reception.
Can you cater to special diets?
