SANTA’S HOTELS ONLINE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms are valid in following Santa’s Hotels subsidiaries: Santa’s Hotel Santa Claus, Santa’s Hotel Rudolf, Santa’s Igloos Arctic Circle, Santa’s Hotel Tunturi, Santa’s Hotel Aurora and Aurora Glass Igloos, Santa’s Hotel Rakka and Santa’s Resort & Spa Hotel Sani. These general terms and conditions are applied to reservations of Santa’s Hotels, if there is no separate agreement between the customer and the hotel. The products and services which are reserved via Online system include value added taxes. We reserve the right to changes of the terms and prices.

RESERVING AND RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
Products and services are reserved via Online system in website address www.santashotels.fi/en. All reservations are confirmed by email which informs the price of the reservation and ordered products. Needed customer information are required within the reservation process in order to receive reservation confirmation. Customer needs to accept the reservation terms and conditions which are valid during the reservation. Reservations can be made by adults (persons older than 18 years) only. If a minor is accommodated alone the guardian of the minor will need to inform in written in advance that accommodation is accepted and that the guardian is responsible of the minor and his/hers actions.

PAYMENT METHODS – WEB PAYMENT
Products and services are primarily paid for at the time of ordering. In the online booking system, payment can be made using the most common debit and credit cards.

The booking system requires strong authentication at the payment stage. In cases where the actual payment for the booking is made later, the system will temporarily place a €1 authorization hold on the card.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Check-in on the arrival date is earliest at 3 p.m. and check-out on the departure date is latest at 11 a.m. In Resort & Spa Hotel Sani the check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is on the departure date latest at 12a.m.

ARRIVAL AFTER 6 P.M.
Room will be reserved on the arrival date until 6 p.m. After this hotel has the right to sell the room to another customer, if the customer has not arrived or informed of the later arrival. If the accommodation has been paid in advance, hotel will keep the room reserved also after 6 p.m.

NO-SHOW RESERVATION
If the customer has not arrived on the arrival date and the reservation has not been cancelled within the terms, hotel has the right to charge the payments according to the terms and conditions. Minimum charge is always one night stay accommodation charge.

RESERVATION CANCELLATION
Cancellation terms vary depending on the reservation dates, packages and special conditions within the hotel. Possibility to cancel the reservation without charges depend on the chosen price terms on the time of the reservation. Cancellation of the reservation needs to be done in Online system.

Santa’s Hotels has the right to cancel the reservation in case of force majeure or other overpowering object. In this case the customer has the right to receive the pre-payment of the reservation fully back. Santa’s Hotels has the right to cancel the reservation in case if the necessary pre-payments of the reservation has not been paid within given timetable. For obligatory reasons hotel has the right to move the reservation into at least of the same category hotel. In this case hotel will compensate all transfer costs. Hotel reservations apply the law of accommodation and restaurant business, not the law of packaged tour operator law.

We recommend a travel insurance. Travel insurance coverage is adviced to be checked in case of the cancellation of the reservation.

If the reservation has caused special expenses of the ordered extra services, they will be fully charged within the cancellation of the reservation.

When booking in santashotels.fi online shop: the current booking and cancellation terms are mentioned with accommodation rates. When booking from Santa’s Hotels sales office, customer consents to the valid terms when booking. Cancellation terms explained below:

Flexible Booking

You can change or cancel your booking free of charge up to 6 pm the previous day of arrival.

Credit card details are required to guarantee booking. Booking is paid at check-in. The arrival and departure days can be changed without additional fees, up to one (1) year from original travel dates. If the room rates are higher on the period of the new travel dates, the additional cost is charged at check-in. If the rates are lower than the original travel dates, the difference will not be refunded.

Semi-flexible Booking

Credit card details are required to guarantee the booking.
The booking is charged 30 days prior arrival. The arrival and departure days can be changed without additional fees, up to one (1) year from original travel dates. The last changes must be made over 7 days prior arrival. If the room rates are higher on the period of the new travel dates, the additional cost is charged at check-in. If the rates are lower than the original travel dates, the difference will not be refunded.

Cancellation free of charge over 30 days prior arrival. 100 % cancellation fee 30-0 Days prior arrival.

Non-refundable Booking

Booking is paid immediately at time of reservation. Payment is non-refundable.

OTHER INFORMATION
We reserve the right to change terms and conditions. The customer needs to read the valid terms and conditions and accept them before making the reservation. Santa´s Hotels handles all customer information confidentially. The parts that are not handled in Santa´s Hotels terms and conditions, they are handled in reservation terms and conditions regarding accommodation services done by Finnish Hospitality Association (MaRa).

Economy Hotel Rudolf check-in: Economy Hotel Rudolf check-in takes place in Hotel Santa Claus reception at address Korkalonkatu 29.
