This prestigious recognition was awarded to Hotel Santa Claus Oy at the Rovaniemi entrepreneurs’ celebration on October 26, 2024. The company’s strong financial position and significant role in promoting tourism in the region were highlighted in the award justifications. The recognition is seen as reflecting the development of the entire tourism industry in Rovaniemi, the growth of which has been a strong foundation for Hotel Santa Claus Oy.

Hotel Santa Claus Oy is part of the Lappish family-owned Santa’s Hotels chain, and Santa’s Hotels is part of the Sava-Group. In 1993, Seppo Aho joined Saariselkä Tunturihotellit as the main shareholder. Over the years, the Santa’s Hotels family has grown to Rovaniemi, Levi, Luosto, Kilpisjärvi and Kalajoki.
