USING ELECTRICITY AND WATER WISELY<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

All electricity used by our hotel companies comes from 100% renewable sources. We monitor water consumption through the Smartvatten system, which helps us quickly identify unusual consumption. We also encourage our guests to be mindful of their use of electricity and water during their stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make it easier for you to assess our sustainability efforts, we have certified our hotels through two recognised sustainability programmes. Participation in these programmes helps us communicate our sustainability actions and develop our operations in a long-term and systematic way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Key is an internationally recognised sustainability certification for the tourism industry, based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. It is also a programme that encourages its members to continuously improve their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sustainable Travel Finland, or the STF label, is a label awarded by Visit Finland to companies committed to developing sustainable tourism practices in Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
